In my experiences, my streak of bad news comes in 3′s. It was like a sick pattern. I could list other problems but it’s the main 3′s that only time could sort itself out.

If time is the solution to the problem, the questions that pounds in my head wondering, when is the nightmare going to end? Will it end the way I want it to?

It’s just best to let the thought go.

How do you let the thought go?

1. If it doesn’t involve you.. Remain out of it!

2. If you are trying to help the person you love in any way and/or the person doesn’t want your help, let he or she fall on her ass and learn a valuable life lesson.

3. If you’re in a relationship and the other person is breaking up with you don’t fight back.. He or she obviously made a decision and it’s their lost and best of all, you are free. Go have a friends night out or a spa.

4. If your pet died, have a good cry because sometimes that all you really need. This actually goes with deceased loved ones. Just remember how to get back up on your feet. Asking for help is never a bad idea.

5. You just got fired. Either find a good lawyer if it’s wrongful termination or find a better job. There is always a job out there whether in the same field or different. Don’t give up.

Many of you are probably thinking, “it’s easier said than done.” but I have successfully flipped the script to stop feeling like a victim and took 10 steps forward.

I was what I thought the end of my ropes, felt hopelessness and wanting to runaway from my problems. But, as part of the healing process. I took my time to get back to my real life and move on. The second day. I just said, “fuck it!”. I dropped the victim card and literally in a second I was a whole new person.

It was like my mind shut out the worries and hakuna matata. No worries. As a start, I made amends to whom I owed whether I was forgiven or not, I moved on.

Using distraction such as smoking or drinking doesn’t actually help… Well for me it doesn’t anyways. Once I stopped feeling emotional and mentally unstable I do stuff that I love to keep me moving forward.

Some can be stress relievers and some can be a great start to picking yourself back up on your feet:

Drink cherry coke
Grab a ice chai from Starbucks
Do yoga
Eat the most expensive ice cream
Take a long NAP!
Get a facial
Grab a mani pedi
Shopping online (limit $50)
Bake cookies
Watch a movie
Read a book that isn’t by Stephanie Meyers

In the end we all want to conquer our objections. Every step in our journey determines the rate of speed to the final destination. The question is not if we are going to take the long or short way but rather, are we going to take the opportunity given? Goosebumps right? I like to think we are ordinary people that can become extra ordinary beings.

I grew up with two hard working parents; both migrated from Vietnam. My parents took jobs that no one wanted. Looking back when I was a small child, I have failed miserably to understand the effort my mom and dad worked to provide my three siblings and I had proper clothes, food, and a home. We begged for toys only to toss it aside when we became bored and more greedy for something new.

When I was about nine years old, I fully understood the true value of the dollar. I hugged my mom while she was washing the dishes and told her, “When I grow older, I will become rich and you can live with me forever in a big house.”

To make this long story short, I took the opportunity to leave Texas after I graduated high school. While my Dad was asleep, my Mom gave me her blessings to leave. She smiled and said, “Don’t worry about your Dad, he will still love you.”

And with that, I hugged everybody goodbye and left.  I knew what was going to happen when I chose to leave Texas; I would break my Dad’s heart. The following morning my Dad called me; I could hear him sobbing softly demanding that I apologize for leaving without saying goodbye.

To this day, I can’t say I regret my decision because I don’t. I opened a very successful business with my fiancé. Despite the economy,we are doing extremely well. I call my parents every so often nagging them to retire, but they just tell me to shut up.

Today I realized I have been extremely rude to you all. From the bottom of my heart, I want to apologize. Here I go about jumping into blogging with out properly introducing myself. So, without further adieu…

My name is Jannet Nguyen. I was born in Long Beach, CA. Moved to Texas; moved to Louisiana after High School, and opened a business in North Carolina. Everything wasn’t exactly how I planned, but everyday I’m grateful to be where I am now. I always wanted to blog. My English and grammar may be poor, but I’m rich in enlightenment and entertainment.

When I was a junior in high school, my English teacher taught be the best effective way to write an essay. For every composition, she rewords it to us. For example,

Write about a moment that changed your identity.
Tell me a story about a time that changed your identity

Okay, maybe it would have a different dynamic if you were actually there to hear it, but none the less, it helped greatly. Her revised version help us to transcribe as if we were just chatting to our family and friends.

What teachers really want the most out of the essays is “voice”. Voice in essays are how readers can get a sense of who you are even though they never met you.

Everyday we talk about how our day went, bad blind dates, near death experiences and etc. Our descriptions, imagery, and dictations are reasons why we listen and respond.

This is why I love to blog. I think about the impact I could make.

When you meet someone, what is that vibe or physical attraction that makes want to know more about this person?

For me, I want to meet Great people. Rich investors, Innovated artists and scientists, talented musicians, and all bloggers! When I meet someone new, I think about, “OH I gotta introduce this person to my friends!” It’s like part of the cycle of networking. I feel like it’s my specialty; my niche. I am constantly on twitter/ wordpress/ etc.. jumping from one person’s blog to the next. RSS-ing and all the way.

Then, I found this blog…  The Busy Dad Blog. Hosted by Jim Lin. Just the best comedic and purely enjoyable blog all around. Did I mention he is a foodie fanatic? That’s always a plus for the readers. His Daily Lunchbox art is one to look forward to everyday. Enclosed with clever captions, I can guarantee you’ll be hooked!

Though I may be new to the blogging world, it’s when I discover great successful bloggers, I am more passionate about blogging, socially networking with others, and doing my part by getting the word out there.

Today I had to wake up early for work. I put the kettle on and made tea. The ritual goes as follows; I write my daily cup quote and upload it. Upon writing, I tipped the cup over too much and spilled hot f*cking water on my lap.

Anger shocked through my fingers. I crushed the styrofoam cup completely. Sore throat today and allergy reaction. My noses itches and I keep wrinkling my nose like a crack addict rabbit.

I don’t know what it is about Wednesday that I loathe so much. MOndays I wake up fine. Tuesdays I get more energy. Wednesdays I think about chaining myself to my bed. Thursday I look forward to Friday. Friday, I’m dancing and singing. Saturday I party, and Sundays I take it easy with chamomile tea.

After the Mega Million Fever, I been thinking about what if I really had that money? WHat if I did become an over night millionaire winner. I’ve been carefully thinking about what I would do with the money.

Donate exactly half the pot to three different charities, WWF, UNICEF, and America Hearts Association.
Exactly a quarter of the remaining jackpot will go in a COD. The rest of the money? Bills, Spas, and investing into other business ventures.

I read stories about the negative effects of winning the lottery. I think its full of SHIT. You blew money off on hookers and drugs? You’re an Idiot. You’re an embarrassment. Wanna feel high and on top of the world? GO SKYDIVING!

 Being Famous. Yes, but with these conditions.

No I don’t want paparazzi. No, I don’t want crazy stalkers sending me pieces of the tissue I discard two weeks ago. 

Moving out of my parents’, I thought it would be easy. Me mum taught me paperwork; me dad taught me really neat house repairs, but two things I never learned or kinda half assed was fluent Vietnamese and cooking.

I blamed myself for this because I thought band practice and calculus was going to be useful in the future. But it wasn’t. My mom cooks fresh Vietnamese cuisine so I would never have to worry about getting sick or food poisoning.

So to this day, I’m constantly bothering my mom with text and picture messages. Is this the right brand mom? Is this Pork Butt Fresh? MOM Do I need this much sugar? 

She loves me. She’s really funny too. She tells my sister to take a picture and send it to my phone with caption, Not enough for seconds sorry.
